Double Your Impact: Help Us Feed Children in Need
The Rotary Club of Sydney is thrilled to announce a new initiative to combat food insecurity for vulnerable children in our local community. Thanks to a recently approved Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) Compassionate Grant, we have a unique opportunity to double the impact of your generosity.
We are partnering with Sydney Food Share to provide nutritious weekly food packages to disadvantaged children. These children, who attend the PCYC Woolloomooloo and Glebe/Balmain Clubs, live in community housing and face daily food insecurity. This project is designed to deliver direct, compassionate, and immediate relief.
Here’s the exciting part:
The RAWCS Compassionate Grant (Project Number 42-2025-26) will match every dollar donated, dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000. This means a donation of $20 becomes $40 for Sydney Food Share, turning our collective target of $5,000 into a powerful $10,000 contribution.
Funds raised will go directly towards creating weekly food packages, ensuring these children have consistent access to the nutrition they need to thrive.
