Vocational Service Activities:

• Vocational Service Award – Presented for outstanding application and excellence within the candidate's vocation in the context of Rotary's 'service above self' value and the wider community benefit, professional or otherwise.
• Police Officer of the Year Award – City Central Local Area Command with Rotary select and present the award annually to an officer in the LAC, who then goes up as an entrant for State Award, one month later
• Ethics Hypothetical – a challenging, entertaining lunch time debate with audience participation designed to tease out and demonstrate ethical issues.
• Australian Scholarships Foundation – Rotary assists ASF in the award management of fully funded scholarships provided to develop the skill set of persons working in the 'not for profit' sector.
• Vocational Evenings – Presentations at a city location on topics of interest e.g. Real Estate – Buying off the plan, followed by drinks & networking.

Community Service Activities:

• Community Service Award – An annual award made to an outstanding community service volunteer who has performed meritorious, dedicated and inspirational community service.
• MS Mega-Swim – Rotary assists the MS Society in annually raising 6 figure sums through the management and support of corporate sponsored teams in a 24 hour
• Swim held at the Aquatic Centre late in June.
• Australian Citizenship Ceremony – Each year S & A members arrange for a small group of applicants to become Australian Citizens at a regular Club meeting.
• Soukup Scholarships – an ongoing series of small scholarships awarded to those in need, particularly from rural and regional areas, who are involved in post-secondary education - up to $50,000 pa in sum total.
• ANZAC Day BBQ – A fund raiser and brand builder, held on the Hyde Park boundary with Bathurst Street for marchers, service providers and spectators
